Elula Bedside Table

The Elula Bedside Table is crafted using a traditional steam-bending technique, where each piece is formed from a single continuous length of European white oak. The timber is bent as one piece, preserving the uninterrupted grain and eliminating the need for glue joins or laminated sections, resulting in a form that is both strong and beautifully refined.

Following the natural direction of the oak fibres, the steam-bending process creates a soft, sculptural curve that feels seamless and balanced. The integrity of the solid timber is maintained throughout, allowing the material itself to define both the structure and character of the piece.

Finished with a natural live edge, each bedside table retains the organic edge of the oak. Knots, grain variation, and subtle irregularities are natural characteristics of solid timber, meaning no two pieces are identical. These variations highlight the authenticity of the material and make every table uniquely its own.

Minor movement may occur over time due to changes in temperature and humidity. This is a natural response of steam-bent solid timber and reflects the honesty of the material rather than a flaw.
